Concept of Solkav professional boarding:

We set up a modular mix of boarding components to fit together for any requirement:

Inside or outside use

Budget or Superior

Double wall panels with plain glass (post less) or more simple with glassing post holders

Ice dam Upgrade

Boxes

A. Basic board:

Size 30 x 60; or 26 x 56 or in between

Radius 8,5

Height of board: 1100 mm

Steel frame, hot tip galvanized with 6 horizontal profiles and 2 vertical profiles (element ends are isolated to prevent condensing water)

Puckboard whitened, HPDE 10 mm, UV consistant

Handrail 12 mm; blue (other colours on demand)

Bumper / kick strip: yellow 12 mm; UV stabilized

6 play gates of 700 mm width; self locking mechanism

1 machine gat 3500 mm; with adjustable kick strip

B. Protective glazing:

Shielding of 8mm Polycarbonate; shielding ends are equipped with rounded safety elements; flexible

Shielding at the short end is 2200 mm high; length approx. 80m

Machine and access gate adapters

Shielding on the penalty/offial box and on the players box side 1800 mm height

Players box length has no shielding 

4 m high mash net; incl. hanging bar at the short ends (around 40m)

C. Glazing without support posts:

The upgrade means 2 adjustments:

double frame: the holding of the glassing is integrated in the middle of the double frame; therefore no glass posts are visually seen

the backside of the boarding is covered by whitened PE

Also possible for outside use!

D. Boxes:

According to IIHF rules fully equipped:

Players boxes 1,5 10m

Official / Penalty boxes 1,5 x 13,5m with 2 gates on the sides

Box flooring: Ice floor sheeting

Bow walls of 5mm HDPE sheeting; UV stabilized

Top sill HDPE 10mm

Benches and Tables (penalty, benches, official table, benches, soft chairs foir officials)

E. Ice dam Upgrade

The Ice dam upgrade give the board a “back kick option” to slow down Ice Hockey player moves.

F. Advertisement package:

Advertisement 4mm PC protection shield; and 1mm advertisement sheet

Adjusted Bumper and handrail

G. Spare part package: to be flexible for repairs on your own:

Shielding and PE panels, handrail bumper
